Anemone Crabs usually live together in pairs in an anemone which provides protection but will
also live on their own. These crabs are peaceful and make wonderful additions to all kinds of
anemones. They will filter feed on plankton and other small bits of food from the water
column with their fan-like arms.

The Arrow Crab uses its very long legs to walk over the reef and to climb over almost any
obstacle. It will not bother corals, however the occasional large specimen may pick at
small passive fishes. Some Arrow Crabs will eat troublesome bristle worms and flat worms.
Overall, a great reef inhabitant that can live for several years in the home aquarium.

The Sally Lightfoot Crab is a superb algae eater. It is very useful in keeping reef aquariums
clean and free of undesirable algae. Large specimens can be harmful to small fish although
this is unlikely, especially if there is sufficient algae for the crab to eat. If there is
not sufficient algae growth you can supplement its diet with herbivore and meaty foods as
well as macro algae.
