Mandarin Dragonet(Synchiropus splendidus)

Minimum Tank Size: 50 gallons
Care Level: Difficult
Water Conditions: 72-80°F; sg 1.021-1.025; pH 8.1-8.4; dKH 8-12
Aggressiveness: Peaceful
Reef Compatible: Yes
The mandarin dragonet is a very colorful and wonderful fish. It is also one of the more difficult species to keep in a captive environment. The main obstacle to overcome is keeping this dragonet eating. Provide a lot of live rock and feed live cocapods and rotivers on a daily basis. Once they begin taking perpared foods, you can switch over to mysis, plankton, brine, formula one, and prime reef formulas. Due to its level of difficulty, this species is excluded from ReefPlayground's live stock guarantee.
