Q: What is Reef Playground maintenance area?

Reef Playgrounds main area of operation is in the Los Angeles County and surrounding areas.
Q: Will ReefPlayground maintain my existing aquarium?
A:
Reef Playground maintains both existing aquariums as well as new installations in your home or
office.
Q: Is my aquarium too small or too large for
ReefPlayground to maintain?
A:
No. ReefPlayground maintains everything from the smallest office desktop reefs to large loby
display aquariums. No job is too small or too large for us to handle.
Q: Does ReefPlayground design and install custom
aquariums?
A:
Yes. We will meet with you to design the perfect aquarium for your home or office. There are
many designs and styles of both fresh and salt water aquariums, and we will put together the
right system for you.
Q: What are the costs of having
ReefPlayground come out to maintain my aquarium?
A:
Each individual system is unique and therefore different systems require different work and
take different amounts of time. Check our Quote Section to get
a quick estimate on your existing aquarium or one you are thinking of having ReefPlayground
design for you.
Q: At what time can ReefPlayground service my
aquarium?
A:
We proudly work around our clients schedules and
offer a 24/7 emergency service.
Q: Will I, as a service client, have access
to the entire ReefPlayground livestock selection?
A:
Yes. We provide all our service clients with access to our entire livestock selection. This
means that we don't run around between differen aquarium stores looking for specimens. We
provide great quality specimens at affordable prices.
Q: How often should ReefPlayground service my aquarium?
A:
Each system is different and requires a different service schedule. The frequency of service
is determined by the style of aquarium, filtration, lighting, livestock, feeding, etc. etc. Some aquariums will do fine
with monthly maintenance visits, while others require weekly maintenance to keep them in
proper condition.
Q: How long will it take to clean my aquarium?
A:
That depends on too many factors to give an accurate estimate. Please visit our
Quote Section, and send us a description of your aquarium.
Q: What does ReefPlayground do at each service visit?
A:
We take a very direct approach in our service. We will test the water chemistry, algae scrub
the front and sides of the aquarium, do a gravel vacuum if needed, clean/replace/exchange
artificial decorations when needed, dose the proper chemicals and additives, clean out and
maintain the filtration system, inspect the fish for health and check on their behavior, feed
the corals or any other invertebrate's in the aquarium, and perform whatever minor or major
repairs which might be needed.
Q: Does Reef Playground Lease Aquariums?
A:
Yes. We have several different styles of plans available for every home or office. Unlike
other companies, our leasing plans are all inclusive. Which means EVERYTHING is included.
