Lionfish add a lot of exotic appeal to any aquarium. They are slow swimmers, mostly "sitting"
around near one particular spot in the aquarium. Be careful in adding them with smaller
species as lionfish can and will eat anything that fits in their mouths. We do not recommend
keeping them on a diet of guppies and goldfish as this can cause nutritional problems in the
future. Instead, keep them on live ghost shrimps, krill, squid, silversides, and other
marine flesh.
