- Reef Playground takes great pride in the quality of livestock that we carry. Thats why we
offer a seven day guarantee on all our FW ans SW livestock (except exempt species) will
arrive alive and well and that if in the unlikely event that an animal should perish in
transit or within the guarantee period, we will issue a credit for the
purchase price of your lost item.
- Customer must physically sign for package on the first delivery attempt regardless of
whether or not FedEx is late. Refusal of delivery for any reason voids any guarantee.
- Our seven day guarantee begins on the initial shipping date
- Live Guarantee does not apply to livestock that has died as a result of being harassed or
picked on by other animals.
- Please do not ship or discard specimens without our consent, as this will cause our
guarantee to be void.
- We will not issue credit for shipping and handling costs.
- Store credit from livestock can only be used on new livestock.
- We will not replace replacements or livestock bought by store credit unless contents are
'DOA' or damaged during shipping.
- Livestock must be reported dead via email within the seven day period of the guarantee.
Returns or proof of death must be sent within one day of the item being reported dead.
- Email Us immediately within the seven days to report losses. Be sure to include name,
number, and message.
- Place deceased specimen in sealed plastic bag. Apply table salt to prevent
decay and place in freezer.
- After you receive a return authorization number by email, place sealed bag in a padded
envelope or small box and ship to the address that will be given to you along with your
return authorization number. Write the return authorization number on the back of envelope.
– We will email a discount code to you that will allow you use your credit within one
year of the credit being issued.
- Please allow 48 hours for processing of live guarantee claims.
- To avoid returns we suggest you ask about any product you are unsure of and their
warranties before you order.
- When you receive your shipment from us please overlook the items to assure you have
recieved the correct models and number of items ordered before opening your packages as well
as any broken items. If you have received an incorrect item or quantity by error of
Reef Playground or if any item is damaged please call or email us for a prompt resolution.
- Any drygood return requests must be filed within 30 days of the initial purchase.
- Opened and/or used items cannot be returned.
- Reef Playground incorporates a no cash back return policy. Credit will be issued for
returned items that can be applied to any future orders.
- Reef Playground does not issue refunds on shipping costs.
- All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
- All products returned to us must be accompanied by a valid Return Authorization (RA)
number issued by us within 30 days of your original invoice date. After 30 days from
purchase we can no longer issue an RA and will refer you to the manufacturer for warranty
service. RA’s expire in 15 days after they are issued and cannot be extended or re-issued.
All returned products must be 100% complete in original packaging and in resalable
condition, with all packaging, software, manuals, cables, components, blank warranty cards
and other accessories and documentation included. A valid RA number must be written
clearly and conspicuously on the outside of the packaging. Incomplete or unauthorized
returns will be refused.
